Requirements

  • Experience as a Systems Engineer
  • Experience developing, deriving, or verifying requirements
  • Solid understanding of core systems engineering principles and processes
  • Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • ABET Accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering field
  • Experience as a systems engineer executing a missile development program and achieving a successful flight test
  • Experience writing requirements specifications and verifying requirements
  • Adept at DOORS with DOORS admin experience
  • Proficient with DXL
  • Experience leading a formal system verification effort through test and analysis
  • Experience contributing to major milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
  • Experience developing PowerPoint slides and formally briefing customers and executives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Derive requirements and interfaces and support specification development in DOORS
  • Be accountable for developing, updating, coordinating, and supporting verification of a subsystem requirement specification
  • Support the full life cycle of assigned subsystems or components all the way through development, test, analysis, verification, and flight test
  • Support assessments of key performance parameters, technical performance measures, and requirement compliance
  • Support formal system design reviews
  • Support interface definition and integration of subsystems and components across the broader system
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines across a small, fast-paced, dynamic program
  • Use excellent communication skills and self-motivating drive to work across Lockheed Martin business areas
  • Promote a positive teamwork culture within a small, diverse team spread across multiple sites
