About The Position
The Systems Engineer V position at Belcan Corp is a contract role based in Seattle, Washington, lasting for 11 months. This role is pivotal in providing solutions and technical advice, working closely with business users, system analysts, stakeholders, and database administrators. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong background in Oracle EBS, particularly in the finance and manufacturing functional areas. In the finance domain, the engineer will engage in various tasks including working on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets. Responsibilities will include performing application system administration functions, overseeing small projects, and coordinating activities of teams and resources. The engineer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation, providing technical expertise in integration solutions, and developing reports using Oracle BI Publisher and XML Publisher. In the manufacturing sector, the engineer will similarly provide solutions and technical advice, focusing on areas such as BOM, WIP, Costing, Quality, and Planning. The role requires a hands-on approach to application setup, configuration, and maintenance, as well as the ability to oversee small projects and ensure that all technical aspects are aligned with business needs. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, with responsibilities including performance tuning, data migration, and post-deployment support. The engineer will also be involved in creating test data, preparing reconciliation scripts, and ensuring that all reports are accurate and meet business requirements. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of Oracle EBS applications and integrations, making it a critical position within the organization.
