We are seeking a Systems Engineer with Android and beacon expertise. The ideal Systems Engineer will, in part, manage beacon and communications servers, applications, and equipment, ensuring maximum reliability of tracking solutions for training course attendees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Administer communications solutions for Android devices and equipment.
• Administer beaconing solutions.
• Customize, deploy, and maintain Android cellular telephones.
• Use ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit) beaconing and tracking hardware, software, scripts, and code.
• Manage telephones, laptops, and tablet devices, ensuring configuration and maintenance while maximizing uptime and communications reliability.
• Configure, set up, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and run firewalls, switches, routers, or other WAN and LAN systems or equipment.
• Use encryption hardware and software and virtual private network (VPN) applications.
• Handle sensitive data, exercising discretion and sound judgment, and achieving mission outcomes.
