About The Position

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Systems Engineer at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Here, your work will have meaning and impact as you deliver your best every day. We are seeking a cloud engineer passionate about new technologies and solving complex problems. Successful candidate will have extensive experience engineering efficient continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and developing strategic plans to introduce or improve IaaS best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Documented experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible.
  • Demonstrated experience automating infrastructure build-out using AWS.
  • Demonstrated experience developing highly available systems on Cloud infrastructure utilizing Linux and advanced bash scripts.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and monitoring highly available, production web applications.
  • Demonstrated experience working with PKI certificates and X509 protocols.
  • Familiar with Serverless framework (Lambda).
  • Demonstrated experience using task tracking and version control technology such as GitHub or JIRA.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating with Sponsor enterprise systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning.
  • Capable of managing Customer Security Assessment and Authorization process.
  • Python development experience.
  • Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Cognos and PowerBI.
  • AWS Developer or DevOps Certification.
