About The Position

The Systems Engineer position at ARKA Group L.P. involves working closely with a talented team to deliver complex software applications into operations. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Effective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to develop requirements.
  • Ability to develop test procedures that verify requirements.
  • Ability to develop tracings between requirements, code, and verification.
  • Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.

Nice To Haves

  • Current IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security , CISSP, or CASP).
  • Experience with using automated tests to sell off formal requirement verification.
  • Experience with government Site Acceptance process and procedures.
  • Experience in working with software-defined interfaces that use either XML or JSON to both document and implement.
  • Experience with SATCOM or GEOINT systems.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual teams.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD.
  • Experience in the operational deployment of multi-product baselines and functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical direction and requirement transparency across development teams.
  • Perform requirements management including requirements creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, compliance matrices, etc.
  • Develop test procedures to formally verify system requirements for sell off events.
  • Decompose system requirements and collaborate with multi-disciplined, distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Support the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilities.
  • Participate in the development and execution of program milestones events such as Customer meetings, internal and formal Government testing events, and discrepancy report (DR) review boards.
  • Conduct testing events of software solutions and generate Test result documentation.
