Make the world’s most advanced SDA O&I/GMI even smarter by supporting the SDA team as a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer. The Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program is part of the PWSA program. It continues the Ground Segment work underway on the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program. Responsibilities: As a Systems Engineer & Tech Baseline Lead for the SDA program, you’ll lead a cross-functional team responsible for the technical baseline of the SDA program.

  • Lead a team that are responsible for managing the requirements database and tracking requirements verification
  • Coordinate internal and external engineering review boards
  • Work with engineering subject matter experts to review technical issues and drive project-level design decisions
  • Manage the team responsible for tracking technical baseline artifacts and library, including technical CDRLs and MBSE models
  • Provide leadership to the SE team on CM processes and procedures, including workflow implementation to support the technical baseline
  • Provide Technical Baseline status and plans at key customer reviews
  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
  • Success in leading the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools
  • Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
