About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Lead (TPL) to manage and execute ESS projects across critical U.S. Navy and Coast Guard (USCG) network infrastructures. This role requires a unique blend of project management discipline, deep knowledge of ACS, IDS, VSS, APT, AVB, MAVB, Gates and Barriers, and expert-level application of DoD security mandates and protocols. The TPL will be responsible for leading technical teams to deliver fully compliant ESS efforts, ensuring systems achieve and maintain a valid operational structure and pass all SOVT protocols. Program Management & Leadership Direct global Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) sustainment programs for both CONUS and OCONUS installations. Oversee the full lifecycle of physical security systems, including installation, maintenance, repair, and warranty services. Manage large-scale security infrastructure projects for military installations, federal facilities, and high-profile commercial venues. Serve as the primary interface for Force Protection professionals and government stakeholders to ensure mission readiness and operational excellence. Technical Expertise & Systems Oversight Provide subject matter expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of anti-vehicle barriers, gates, and bollard solutions. Manage and upgrade integrated electronic security systems, including Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and CCTV/Video Surveillance. Direct the sustainment of emergency operations infrastructure, including Giant/Indoor Voice systems, Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), and Remote Dispatch Centers (RDCs). Execute complex turnstile and badging system expansions for high-security environments. Compliance & Security Requirements Maintain active Top Secret security clearance and adhere to rigorous federal and DOD security protocols. Ensure organizational compliance with DOD Cyber Awareness, OPSEC, and Insider Threat Awareness standards. Implement safety and operational standards in accordance with OSHA 30-Hour General Industry guidelines. Hold and maintain specialized certifications in alarm programming (DMP XR series), fiber optics, and gate controller maintenance (HySecurity, Delta, B&B, etc.).

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in ESS, with at least 3 years managing technical projects or leading engineering teams in a DoD or Federal environment.
  • Clearance: Must possess an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Technical Leadership: Proven, hands-on experience managing projects involving Installs, ACS, IDS, VSS, Gates, Turnstiles, Barriers, etc.
  • Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in project scheduling (MS Project or similar), resource loading, and formal status reporting.
