About The Position

You will be a Systems Design & Requirements Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, FL, responsible for developing a system architecture using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience with 5+ years professional experience
Familiar with DOORS, MATLAB, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo.
Experience with requirements derivation, flowdown, management
Active Secret Clearance is required

Nice To Haves

Proficient in DOORS, MATLAB, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo.
Experience performing trade studies.
Understanding of basic missile and/or sensor system design principles is preferred.
Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Developing a system architecture using MBSE techniques
Developing models for current and future system designs
Developing system and system element architectures, designs, and interface definitions
Supporting internal and external design reviews
Performing system architecture design using SysML based tools
Defining system functionality, including system states and modes
Defining system design for software requirements and functional interfaces
Synthesizing design characteristics into an implementable system architecture
Working with the requirements management team to ensure accuracy of the subsystem element model
Coordinating with the team for modeling and simulation scenarios, and predicted performance
Supporting system timelines and working with software and hardware teams
Documenting system design and implementation for various use case scenarios
Conducting model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance and behaviors
