About The Position

The Systems Engineer Sr is responsible for the technical support of Clinical and Business systems. This includes system implementations, upgrades, monitoring, maintenance, and security patching to ensure stable and reliable systems. The role involves responding to reported system issues, investigating and analyzing these issues, and providing escalation measures to assist Clinical and Business Systems Analysts and Information Systems division teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or Information Systems, or a high school diploma with four years of related work experience.
• Minimum of four years of related work experience as a system engineer supporting clinical and business systems in a large hospital.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
• Participation in the 24/7/365 on-call rotation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with commonly used Office applications and tools.
• Extensive technical knowledge of multiple software applications, computer operating systems, database applications, and server hardware.
• Knowledge of the patient care setting either by profession or experience.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to research and problem solve.
