The new Systems Engineering and Integration Lead will support the Electrical Ground Support Equipment team in the development and refresh of electrical support equipment for the FBM program.

Requirements

  • Highly experienced in leading and developing teams of systems engineers (e.g., previous experience as a Technical Lead or Project Manager or System Lead, or Product Lead)
  • Direct experience in applying systems engineering practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and affordability
  • Be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance, must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Master’s degree in Systems Engineering
  • ASEP/ADQP certifications
  • Experience with Windchill and/or EPDM product data management toolset
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices (Cameo preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at both programmatic and technical levels with subordinates, senior management, program office, and customers
  • Proposal preparation and negotiation experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the systems engineering tasking associated with the development of electrical ground support equipment projects
  • Providing technical leadership support to a team of systems engineers, including project leadership and planning
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, manufacturing, facilities, and program management, to ensure successful project execution
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing process improvements and standardization to drive efficiency and affordability
