IaaS Systems and Storage & Engineering (ISSE) team is part of the Operations & Infrastructure technology organization. Distributed Compute engineering (DCE) is part of ISSE and Linux engineering is part of DCE. Our vision, mission and purpose are summarized as following: Essential Functions: System Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Unix and Linux systems to support business applications. GPFS Configuration and Management: Expertise in managing, configuring, and deploying IBM's GPFS file system. GPU as a Service and High-Performance Compute Platform Support: Expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing GPU as a Service (GaaS) and high-performance compute platforms to support advanced computational workloads. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with network engineers and other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems. Automation: Develop and maintain automation workflows and scripts to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Documentation: Write comprehensive technical design and build documentation, ensuring clear guidelines and processes for the team. Team and Independent Work: Highly motivated, excellent team player, capable of working independently, with strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex issues and mentor junior staff.
