THE WORK The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking experienced CAMEO Systems Engineer to work from our Huntsville, AL location. You will be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. As a member of the NGI team, you will perform tasks related to the development of the overall system. You should have a complete understanding of at least one of the key system subject areas with the opportunity to work in all fields to include systems definition, allocation, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, analysis, and test. Requirements

  • Experience using Cameo and DOORS software
  • Solid MBSE experience and proficiency
  • Collaborate with SEIT organization to create end to end integrated solutions
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance at the SECRET level

Nice To Haves

  • Writing specifications and/or formal, peer reviewed technical documents
  • Writing requirements documentation and coordinating document release through approval process
  • Knowledge of DOORS
  • Knowledge of CAMEO
  • Knowledge of Requirements
  • Knowledge of MBSE
  • Experience in systems engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment
  • Experience with coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
  • Solid technical experience in architecture development, functional decomposition, requirements development and allocation, and interface definition using system-modeling tools
  • Active/Current security clearance at the SECRET level

Responsibilities

  • Use DOORS Requirements Management software and modeling with Cameo software
  • Support the logistics group with major program reviews including SRR, PDR, and CDR.
  • Be involved in all phases of the project development (e.g., architecture development, CONOPS, definition, qualification, integration assembly, and test)
  • Work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple disciplines, program management, and customers to help drive to a complete solution
