Stellar Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a highly dynamic and evolving program with one of our U.S. Government customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-year initiative that drives systems engineering and integration across a diverse range of projects, directly supporting mission-critical operations that impact national security. In this role, you will serve as a key systems engineering contributor supporting the development, deployment, operations, and sustainment of space-related hardware and software capabilities. You will be expected to communicate clearly in a fast-moving environment, collaborate effectively across technical teams, and manage early-phase development activities through fielding and operational use.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in systems engineering, specifically spacecraft system design.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively represent the customer with developers and external organizations.
- Comprehensive understanding of the full system development lifecycle.
- Subject matter expertise in Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) or complex electro-optical and radar systems.
- Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience
- Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience
- PhD with 10+ years of experience
- U.S. Citizen required.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for system deployments, operations, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with system developers to enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain systems.
- Work closely with system operators to ensure mission continuity and optimal performance.
- Manage system data outputs, ensuring proper formatting, quality, and delivery to stakeholders.
- Support the customer in evaluating developer technical performance, issues, and proposed improvements.
