As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will plan, design, and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems. You will provide direct support in the day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems while maintaining the reliability and robustness of the underlying infrastructure that supports the forensic and investigative ecosystem across multi-enclave environments.

  • Supervise, coordinate, design, develop and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems.
  • Provide direct support in day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems.
  • Troubleshoot at both physical and logical network levels.
  • Participate in planning, design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure.
  • Perform systems management and integration functions across multi-enclave environments.
  • Maintain network infrastructure standards including communication protocols such as TCP/IP.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex communication problems.
  • Ensure systems are current with approved patches and assist with certification and accreditation tasks.
  • Develop strategy for client/server systems and design infrastructure to support that strategy.
  • Advise on selection of technological purchases for processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
  • Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
  • Support DevSecOps practices and tools implementation.

  • Education and Experience: You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
