This is a position for a Systems Engineer Senior on F35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD) as part of the Weapons Integrated Product Team (IPT) As a key member of our Systems Engineering team you will: Provide systems engineering support across multiple projects, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs and project objectives Develop and document system architectures and interfaces based on stakeholder requirements and system specifications Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts on multiple projects Elicit, analyze, and manage customer and stakeholder requirements to inform system design and development Assist in creating plans for system verification to ensure designs meet operational needs Participate actively in an agile development environment The Pilot Training Devices (PTD) team creates flight simulators for the F35 fighter jet. The Weapons Integrated Product Team is responsible for the Weapon Simulation software across all of our PTD products. You thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment and are committed to delivering best-in-class products and solutions. This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin, as well as obtain a Special Access Program U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

  • Provide systems engineering support across multiple projects, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs and project objectives
  • Develop and document system architectures and interfaces based on stakeholder requirements and system specifications
  • Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts on multiple projects
  • Elicit, analyze, and manage customer and stakeholder requirements to inform system design and development
  • Assist in creating plans for system verification to ensure designs meet operational needs
  • Participate actively in an agile development environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
  • 3 or more years of engineer experience
  • Experience with Systems Engineering including: systems documentation, system requirements, systems verification, and system design
  • This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin, as well as obtain a Special Access Program U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
  • Experience with integration and test
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with the F35 program
  • Experience in Simulation.
  • Experience with aerodynamics, air launched weaponry, and missile kinematics
