Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced Program Chief System Engineer to join the Global Securities (GS) team in our National Security Space (NSS) Line of Business (LOB). The GS team supports development and integration of advanced technologies to provide solutions to our national security mission partners’ most challenging problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the system engineering effort on a multi-year development program. Working in close collaboration with the Program Manager, Program Chief Engineer, Space Vehicle and Payload IPT Leads, and program leadership. The Program Chief System Engineer will be responsible for technical direction, planning, staffing, interfacing with LM senior management, customers, subcontractors, partners and suppliers, and integration and coordination with all functional organizations involved in system design, integration, assembly, test and delivery. This is a high-visibility position that offers an opportunity to quickly make a significant impact on the future of Global Securities and LM Space. The position requires a high level of technical and business acumen to balance priorities, drive issue prevention/resolution, and clearly communicate status and needs to our customers/partners, and with both Lockheed Martin and supplier executives.
