Your day to day as a Systems Engineer - Senior Level Mission Intelligence Group is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Senior Systems Engineer to enhance our dynamic team, employing a multi-disciplinary approach to requirements engineering and solutions development. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding the planning and traceability of user requirements while improving existing systems and reviewing cloud service capabilities. You will mentor and support mid-level engineers in designing solutions based on a thorough analysis of requirements and innovative technologies. Your expertise will assist in capturing and translating mission and customer needs into effective systems and capability requirements. Moreover, you will engage in critical analyses, including Alternatives Analysis (AoA), Course of Action (CoA), and Engineering Assessments, ensuring seamless systems integration. This position requires excellent communication skills, as you will be responsible for articulating complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding across various teams.   • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or a related technical/scientific field
  • 12+ years of experience in government or industry relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex system of systems
  • 8+ years of experience with strategic plan development, decomposition, and management
  • 8+ years of experience with systems engineering lifecycle
  • 8+ years of experience supporting the assessment, evaluation, and deployment of new or emerging technologies into operations or the architecture impacts and a recommendation path forward
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or technical team leadership
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
