Your day as a Systems Engineer - Senior Level As a Senior-Level Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will lead engineering teams to implement a multi-disciplinary approach to complex requirements engineering across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and various Federal Agencies. You will guide Mid-level and Junior engineers in critical areas such as solutions engineering, scheduling, and systems integration. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing user requirements, conducting trade studies, and performing systems integration while ensuring high-quality performance and reliability. Additionally, you'll assist in translating mission needs into actionable systems requirements, facilitating strategic technical planning, and managing project risks. This role focuses on enhancing existing systems and workflows, operating within a Major Systems Acquisition environment that fosters collaboration and connectedness across organizational boundaries. Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
  • 12+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • Experience with and understanding of systems engineering
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO
  • Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree

  • Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
