In this role, you will be working under the guidance of senior R&M engineers, the intern will assist in developing maintenance procedures, supporting reliability analyses, and contributing to review board activities. This role provides exposure to system-level engineering, lifecycle sustainment planning, and structured reliability methodologies within a disciplined engineering environment.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Exposure to technical documentation such as technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, or engineering drawings
- Strong written communication skills with ability to document technical procedures clearly and logically
- Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with reliability tools such as RBDs, FMECA, FRACAS, LORA, RCMA, or MTA concepts
- Familiarity with common network hardware such as switches, routers, servers, and firewalls
- Coursework or project experience involving reliability engineering, maintainability, or systems engineering
- Experience using MBSE tools, reliability prediction tools, or data analysis tools
- Experience supporting review boards, technical reviews, or data package preparation
Responsibilities
- Support Reliability & Maintainability Review Board activities including failure data review, anomaly tracking, preparation of meeting materials, and documentation of action items
- Assist with reliability and maintainability predictions and supporting data analysis
- Support Level of Repair Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis, and Maintenance Task Analysis activities
