Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Ability to solve problems of moderate scope using standard engineering methods, with work reviewed periodically for technical quality and completeness
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document analysis results and explain technical findings to mixed audiences
  • Ability to work effectively on cross functional teams
  • One to three years of experience in Reliability and Maintainability engineering or a closely related engineering specialty (including relevant internships or co ops where applicable)
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to one or more of the following: reliability predictions, maintainability analysis, FMECA, mission reliability or mission success modeling, FRACAS, or testability analysis
  • Familiarity with Logistics Product Data (LPD) concepts and sustainment data structures (for example GEIA STD 0007) is a plus
  • Exposure to Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler is a plus
  • Demonstrated initiative, learning agility, and the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to closure with support

Responsibilities

  • Perform reliability and maintainability allocations and predictions for subsystems and components.
  • Develop and maintain Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and related artifacts.
  • Support system reliability analyses such as block diagrams and fault trees.
  • Conduct Maintenance Task Analysis and support maintainability demonstrations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, briefings, and analysis summaries for stakeholders.
