The Radar Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) will support the integration, testing, and verification of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. This role involves applying advanced technologies and scientific principles to develop innovative system solutions, conducting system verification, and representing the organization in technical matters with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in dynamic environments, including hands-on laboratory or field settings.

  • Support the integration, test, and verification of AESA radar systems.
  • Apply advanced technologies and scientific principles to develop system solutions.
  • Evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, and provide technical assessments of anomalies.
  • Conduct system verification and support certification activities.
  • Represent the organization on contracts and interface with customers and leadership on technical matters.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent with 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • Functional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Experience in the integration and test of Solid State Radar systems.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard shifts as required.
  • Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars.
  • Proficiency in Matlab, C++, or Python.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
  • Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.
  • Hands-on experience with RF systems or antenna testing.
  • Signal processing experience.
  • Technical leadership experience with IRAD or program execution.
