Job Description: CBAD Performance IPT Lead is expected to lead a diverse and graphically separated team to analyze mission effectiveness of CBAD against various threats. The Lead is expected to manage the team decomposing missions, conducting operational analysis, and evaluating system performance through MODSIM. This team will also develop and execute models to analyze effectiveness of system CONOP. Threat models will need to be created based on intel reports, best simulated adversary systems and characterizing their performance and vulnerabilities. The Lead will manage design of experiments to assess system trade-offs, conduct system of system assessments, and evaluate defeat mechanisms.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 3 Years with PhD.
  • Strong technical and analytical background.
  • Dynamic modeling background with experience in reduced order modeling.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience distilling complex relationships and results into easy-to-understand presentations and reports.
  • Experience in leading MODSIM development teams and efforts.
  • Experience validating models with real-world test results.
  • Willingness to travel to support customer engagements (<25%).

Nice To Haves

  • TS Clearance.
  • Experience with MODSIM tools such as AFSIM or STK.
  • Operational background to apply personal experiences in military to MODSIM.
  • Familiarity with CBAD subsystems (guided ammunition, radar, cannons, comms equipment, C2, etc.).
  • Data science or advanced analytics experience.
  • Familiar with Agile development and use of JIRA.
