This position provides specialized expertise, skills and technical support for the operation and ongoing assessment, improvement and extension of the capabilities of real-time operation technology systems (e.g. Energy Management System (EMS), Outage Management System (OMS), etc.) Required to ensure adequate support in meeting corporate goals in service reliability, availability, and system efficiency (heat rate). Identifies, designs, implements, tests and integrates software which enhances and supports the needs of the EMS and its users. Responsible for planning, coordinating, installing, maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing the data communication (secure EMS network) and corporate telecommunication networks and security interfaces.
