Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer (Modeling and Simulation Software Developer). In this role, you will be a technical staff member for laboratory software development within the LM Aero Simulation and System Test (S&ST) Team. Initial assignment will likely involve development, integration, documentation, test and debugging of airframe, aircraft system and avionics software models that contain logical and mathematical solutions for experimental, developmental and production aircraft developed in various computer languages. The successful candidate will have knowledge of software development in high order languages (like C++ or Java), familiarity with modeling and/or simulation, and an interest in technologically advanced aircraft. Must be a US Citizen ; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Proficient with software development in high order languages (like C++ or Java).
  • Familiar with the Configuration Management and tools associated with large scale software projects
  • Knowledge of aircraft flight controls and automatic flight controls.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
