Your day as a Systems Engineer - Mid Level As a Mid-Level Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) and the Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG). You will employ a multi-disciplinary approach to requirements engineering and solutions engineering, ensuring the reliability, resiliency, and maintainability of vital systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough planning and analysis of user requirements, developing solution designs, and conducting systems integration across Federal Agencies. You will collaborate closely with the Government to translate mission and customer needs into actionable systems capabilities, while also supporting analyses such as Trade Studies and Engineering Assessments. Your contributions will directly influence strategic technical planning and project management, helping to optimize existing systems and guide the development of innovative solutions that enhance GEOINT capabilities. Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
  • 6+ years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • 6+ years of experience working systems engineering in government or
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO
  • Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
  • INCOSE Associate Systems engineering Professional (ASEP)
  • Documented work experience in the field of geospatial
  • Membership or active participation in any of the following professional organizations: ACSM ASCE ASPRS OGC SAREM USGIF
  • Working knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
