(or active withing past 24 months) Required JOB SUMMARY: The Systems Engineer – MBSE Specialist serves as the subject matter expert in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), leading system architecture modeling efforts using SysML within Dassault’s Cameo tool suite. This role supports system architecture development by translating existing technical documentation and DoDAF artifacts into structured SysML models, while mentoring engineering teams on MBSE methodologies, tools, and digital engineering best practices. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develop and maintain system architecture models using SysML in Dassault Cameo tools (Enterprise Architect, Collaborator, Teamwork Cloud) Serve as the Cameo and SysML subject matter expert across engineering teams Mentor and guide systems engineers and architects on MBSE tools, SysML standards, and modeling best practices Support conversion of existing DoDAF views into SysML-based models Build system and subsystem models from existing technical documentation using established style guides Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of system models Apply digital engineering principles to improve system design, traceability, and analysis This position will be filled and worked onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Thorough understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and core concepts
  • 3+ years of experience modeling with SysML
  • 3+ years of experience using Dassault Cameo modeling tools
  • Experience working in collaborative engineering environments
  • Ability to mentor engineers with limited MBSE/Cameo experience
  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as DoDAF and/or UAF

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience modeling with SysML
  • 5+ years of experience using Cameo modeling tools
  • Knowledge of U.S. Space Force Space Systems Command SysML Style Guide
  • Advanced knowledge of DoDAF and/or UAF frameworks
  • SysML Certification (e.g., OMG-Certified SysML Professional – OCSMP)
  • Familiarity with ITW/AA and Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission areas
