About The Position

The Chief Engineer leads research, analysis, design, and development activities that will support evolution of the Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) to keep pace with the needs of live, virtual, and constructive training events. Specific duties include: Engineering Project Management, including management of cost, schedule, and technical performance Design Agent Services, which encompasses research, analysis, design, prototyping, procurement, deployment, and transition into operations Strategic Assessment Services Required 5-8 years of related experience, including systems engineering, systems architecture, and systems development Bachelors degree with a STEM-related major Project management experience Network operations experience, including network operations center, LAN/WAN Cybersecurity experience, including cyber operations, Risk Management Framework (RMF), inspections and assessments, and planning support 8570/8140 - IATIII certification, to include one or more of the following: CASP CE, CCNP, CISA, and CISSP (or Associate) US citizen Security Clearance: Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of related experience, including systems engineering, systems architecture, and systems development
  • Bachelors degree with a STEM-related major
  • Project management experience
  • Network operations experience, including network operations center, LAN/WAN
  • Cybersecurity experience, including cyber operations, Risk Management Framework (RMF), inspections and assessments, and planning support
  • 8570/8140 - IATIII certification, to include one or more of the following: CASP CE, CCNP, CISA, and CISSP (or Associate)
  • US citizen
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
