About The Position

We are looking for experienced Systems Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science preferred.
• Six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as a code language.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience working with System Automation.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Familiarity with Eclipse developmental duties.
• Experience with Git Hub.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience in security review of applications and infrastructure.
• 4+ years of experience participating in agile activities.
• Ability to research new technologies in object-oriented programming.
• Experience in Cloud-based services.
• Ability to work well in an engineering team environment.
• Ability to mentor others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker and Vagrant.
• Experience with build automation technologies like Maven and Jenkins.
• Experience with building APIs and services using REST and SOAP.
• Experience with scripting languages like Perl and Shell.
