We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join the Responsive Flight Solutions (RFS) Demos team within IGNITE, initially supporting the Lynx program. The RFS Demos team has a portfolio of on-orbit technology/mission demonstration programs. The team is structured to have an execution-focused core team (PM and SEIT functions) for each program, with support from the enterprise for supplementary skills and subject matter expertise. The RFS Demos team is responsible for the entire program life cycle, from conception through post-launch support. What does this role look like? Apply your technical expertise and engineering judgment to drive decision-making, rather than simply following established processes or procedures. Act as a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance, and who can effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. Strategic thinker who can take complex, high-level problems and break them down into manageable, actionable components. Lead the team in executing these plans and will be comfortable making decisions in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential in this role. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge program with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. If you are a motivated and talented systems engineer who is looking for a challenge and is comfortable working in a flexible and adaptive environment, we encourage you to apply.
