About The Position

Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer – Level 1 to support mission-critical initiatives in a fast-paced environment for the Fort Meade Customer. The Systems Engineer will apply data analytics, Agile practices, and collaboration tools to support systems engineering activities, high-visibility tasking, and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline plus 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience applying data analytics to support technical or business decision-making.
Proficiency using JIRA and Confluence in a project or Agile environment.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Responsibilities

Apply data analytics techniques to analyze complex data sets and support systems engineering decisions.
Support systems engineering activities in an Agile development environment, contributing to iterative and incremental delivery.
Utilize JIRA to track tasks, manage work items, and support project execution.
Maintain and contribute to Confluence for documentation, collaboration, and knowledge management.
Execute high-visibility tasking, delivering accurate and timely results under tight deadlines.
Communicate technical information, findings, and status clearly to engineering teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system design, integration, and sustainment efforts.
