About The Position

The System Engineer - Skill Level 1 supports the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite-based systems. This role works across hardware, software, networking, and RF domains, with an emphasis on communications and signal processing systems. The position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure reliable, end-to-end system performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of systems engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with end-to-end systems engineering, RF systems, and FORNSAT environments
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
  • This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
  • DOD 8570 Certification

Responsibilities

  • Support system design and architecture development for satellite-based and data center solutions
  • Perform requirements analysis and traceability throughout the system lifecycle
  • Assist with integration, test, and deployment of hardware, software, networking, and RF components
  • Conduct system-level troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Support end-to-end systems engineering activities, including RF and FORNSAT-related efforts
  • Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system delivery
