About the job In this position the individual will perform hardware/software testing and development for hyper-scale systems in a lab environment. Individuals will be expected to have a strong grasp of electronic systems (servers, network switches), Linux, performance benchmarking tools and computer architecture You will Lead the lifecycle test & validation engineering of hyperscale data center systems (Servers, Racks, Components, Networking) Work cross-functionally with engineering, management and customer teams to align program objectives and mitigate scheduling risks Use environmental chambers, DAQs, Power analyzers and other subsystems to control and monitor system state Develop tools to further automate the existing process Work in an engineering lab alongside technicians to set up products for testing Roadmap and support the design and development of future state solutions You have Bachelor’s degree in computer/systems/electrical engineering or equivalent 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or equivalent role Hands-on test experience with electronics (PCBs, components equipment) I deal candidate has hyperscale product experience (servers, racks, networking, components Working knowledge of Linux (Boot process, terminal commands, system configuration) Scripting knowledge in Bash and Python Experience working with electronics, PCBs and working knowledge of computer architecture Experience integrating subsystems using standard protocols (TCP/REST/CoAP/HTTP) Works well as a team member but also independently Detail oriented, communicates clearly and effectively verbally and in writing The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees with this classification.
