About The Position

Assisting in developing and validating system-level requirements to ensure alignment with customer needs and mission objectives Supporting the design, integration, and testing of complex systems by preparing technical documentation, schematics, and system models Monitoring system performance and conducting data analyses to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate system modifications, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensuring compliance with contractual standards Preparing detailed progress reports and maintaining comprehensive records of system configurations, testing procedures, and operational metrics FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in a system engineering role
  • One or more years of experience shall be related to the design, development, integration, testing, and fielding of communication systems, networks, or technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering discipline, computer science or IT discipline, or technical discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to support system engineering processes including requirements analysis, design evaluation, and integration in accordance with contract specifications
  • Proficient in utilizing systems engineering methodologies and analytical tools to assess system performance and recommend operational enhancements
  • Skilled in interpreting technical documents, schematics, and system models to ensure compliance with DoD and industry standards
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Secret Level

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies (e.g., SysML, UML) to improve system documentation and design integrity
  • Proficiency in simulation and analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) to assist in predictive system performance evaluations
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with an aptitude for troubleshooting and process improvement
  • Experience with project management principles and tools to support effective workflow and timely project deliverables
