Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern Systems Engineer. In this role, you will provide support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks such as setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the following: ability to tackle detailed technical assignments often requiring learning or developing planning and integration skills; proficiency in project planning and product life cycle management; performing design assessments and developing data driven solutions. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position will require a government security clearance.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in bachelor’s degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
  • Microsoft office experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Operating Systems
