Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (Integration and Test) - Intern. In this position, the successful candidate will experience responsibilities in one or more of the following domains: System-level integration of software and hardware components to verify system requirements in a lab and end-user environment. Model-Based Systems Engineering Plan, implement, and report on SI&T activities. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of systems engineering, design, continuous integration and validation of software and hardware system level components. Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

  • System-level integration of software and hardware components to verify system requirements in a lab and end-user environment.
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • Plan, implement, and report on SI&T activities.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent/related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of any of the following: engineering principles, testing methodologies, software development methodologies, system architecture, system integration and test, or system design.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts as required by the supported program.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Experience and/or knowledge in any of the following areas: systems engineering, system design, system or software integration and test.
  • Experience with designing, scripting, and running automated software tests using GUI driven automated test tools such as Python, Sikuli and eggPlant.
  • Proficient in the use/working knowledge of Unix, Linux, C++,Java, Python, and Matlab.
  • Understanding of modeling tools like Rhapsody and SysML.
  • Experience in multiple languages and/or familiarity with software code review, software troubleshooting, software integration, and software test is desired.
