About The Position

The Systems Engineer II performs systems design, test, and analysis in support of product development and manufacturing. This position requires on-site work at Gentex facilities. This role is not eligible for remote work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Professional work experience in new product development.
• Professional work experience in Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products.
• Create, evaluate, and implement system architectures including interface definition and description.
• Develop and conduct system test procedures and methods for system verification and validation.
• Utilize analysis and simulation tools to aid in system design and test.
• Conduct cross-functional design reviews.
• Follow Gentex system engineering processes and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards.
• Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods.
• Other duties as assigned.
