About The Position

This position is a mostly remote position based at Reading Hospital in West Reading, PA. Applicants should be within a commutable distance of West Reading, Pennsylvania, for times when an on-site presence is needed based on business needs. With little guidance, the Systems Engineer II will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by: monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software, associated operating systems, and supporting infrastructure. applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. providing on call support based on supported system needs. interacting with clients, demonstrating critical thinking and follow through. assisting with system builds and complex problem resolution. Establishing credibility at all levels and building partnerships with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a position supporting the software side of server management including troubleshooting tickets, supporting servers for applications, installing applications, active directory, SCCM, FTP, and related projects.
