The Air Defense and Command & Control department within Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities is seeking Engineers to support Patriot program. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in test and capabilities efforts across the program. This is an onsite role located at WSMR in White Sands, NM

Requirements

  • Typically requires Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
  • Experience in operation, test, software, systems integration and/or verification.
  • Experience with MATLAB.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in development of test scripts and automation techniques or methodologies.
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and finding technical solutions to complex requirements.
  • Experience with generating technical documentation in support of requirements integration and verification.
  • Experience with network configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX command line.

Responsibilities

  • Support system level radar integration planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Prepare integration documentation, such as plans, procedures, and integration information sheets.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Analyze data for radar hardware, software, and simulations.
  • Utilize data analysis results to support issue identification and resolution as well as system level requirements verification.
  • Ability to support testing at White Sands Missile Range, NM facilities.
  • Collaborate across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues.
