V2X is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join our Engineering team in Indianapolis to support development, integration, and lifecycle management of advanced systems across various platforms, with emphasis on technical expertise, DoD project support, and collaboration within cross-functional teams.   • Developing and integrating hardware and software systems on air, sea, or ground platforms.
  • Requirements development, participation in system design reviews, and test plan creation.
  • Performing system integration, test execution, and troubleshooting on complex systems.
  • Participating in trade studies and technical analyses to guide design decisions.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders across engineering.
  • Occasionally traveling to client sites for installations or troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
  • 2+ years of experience in systems, software, or hardware engineering.
  • Understanding of the System Engineering Lifecycle and related processes.
  • Experience with hardware/software integration, test procedure development, and system verification.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Agile techniques (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
  • Background working with DoD customers (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps).
