This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): AZ, FL, GA, NC and TX. The Patch Management Team is a collaborative group focused on maintaining endpoint patching and security compliance across the enterprise. The team works closely with IT operations, cyber security, and support teams to ensure timely patch deployment and remediation of vulnerabilities.

  • Ensure patch compliance across all managed client endpoints (Windows/MacOS).
  • Perform troubleshooting of patching related issues and vulnerability remediation.
  • Support and troubleshoot BigFix client management and associated deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to plan, test, and implement patches effectively.
  • Leverage PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Provide remote support to end users for patching and endpoint-related issues.
  • Work with security tools such as Qualys to validate, and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication with end users.
  • Handle critical patching activities under high-pressure situations.
  • Follow ITIL practices for incident, change, and problem management related to patching.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer.
  • Knowledge of MacOS Operating Systems to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience in working enterprise-scale environments with large user bases.
  • Good Understanding of IT standards related to patching and vulnerabilities.
  • Exposure to other endpoint management or security tools.
