The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer II – Test Execution to plan and execute complex integration and verification test events. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in system integration and testing. Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or system test
  • Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance after start

Nice To Haves

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS or equivalent) and configuration control practices
  • Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field supporting integration and/or verification
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, JavaScript, C/C++ and/or other programming languages
  • Experience with IP protocols, networking, communication protocols, and/or Linux

Responsibilities

  • Support testing effort: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification in both simulated and real-world environments
  • Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed analysis and debugging
  • Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues
  • Modeling and Analysis: Utilize modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation
  • Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems in field test and hardware in the loop environments, evaluating their functionality and impact.
  • Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality
  • Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
  • Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 15%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations occurring primarily during first shift and part time section shift hours.
