Develop, deploy, and support automation technologies to eliminate manual work, enhance process consistency, and enable data-driven operations.
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts, tools, and workflows that streamline manual or inefficient processes across various cross functional teams including Engineering, Material Planning, Sales, and Program Management.
Analyze existing business processes and data flows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and improvement opportunities; collaborate with stakeholders to define clear automation requirements.
Build and deploy database-backed applications (Python, SQL, Django/Flask, etc.) that support data validation, reporting, BOM management, and wiring-harness lifecycle processes.
Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems such as Smartsheet, PLM/ECAD tools (e.g., E3/Capital), and internal SQL databases to enable seamless data exchange.
Develop and maintain RPA workflows to eliminate repetitive tasks in design engineering, forecasting, cost tracking, and document generation.
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design new workflows, and validate automated tools prior to release.
Lead root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for automation issues, integration failures, or data inconsistencies, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
Create and maintain technical documentation, process guides, training materials, and user support resources to drive adoption and ensure long-term sustainability of automated solutions.
Establish version control, testing plans, and release processes to ensure automation tools are secure, maintainable, and compliant with internal IT/IS requirements.
Monitor usage, performance, and user feedback on deployed tools to identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement enhancements iteratively.
