About The Position

Strategic Defense Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of multi-domain Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) mission systems for aircraft and ground stations supporting U.S. military customers. In this role, you will be responsible for working with other systems, software, and hardware engineers to create solutions that are high quality, reliable and safe. This position will be onsite in in Richardson, TX.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience developing, decomposing, and deriving system/sub-system requirements
Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools
Experience in system/sub-system design definition
Experience with Agile development

Responsibilities

Capture, analyze, decompose, and trace System requirements
Design, develop, and model systems and sub-systems
Develop and verify test procedures at the system and sub-system levels
Interact with a cross-functional team of (including, but not limited to) Engineers, Engineering leaders, Program Managers, Business Developers, Finance, Quality, and Production Support Systems engineering team at internal and external stakeholder meetings
