About The Position

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. In Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. The LTAMDS / Ghosteye (GE) within Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SETC) seeks talented recent graduates to join our team as Systems Engineers supporting Integration, Verification, and Flight & Ground Test for an advanced Missile Defense Radar System. We integrate hardware and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system interfaces and functions, and verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to our customers. Every day has a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts across the program. This position is onsite in Tewksbury, MA. Occasional travel between Raytheon facilities in both MA and southern NH is expected. Up to 10% additional travel may expected to support test events. There is also the potential for supporting testing on multiple shifts.
