Job Summary: Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer with expertise in Linux/Windows environments, FORNSAT systems, and system requirements development. Supports design, integration, documentation, and stakeholder coordination to deliver technically sound, mission‑aligned solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of Systems Engineering experience in comparable roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
  • Alternatively: 5 additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree
  • Security Clearance Requirement - Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems, including software installation and FORNSAT system network/software configuration.
  • Support, maintain, and monitor FORNSAT and collection systems to ensure reliable and accurate data flow.
  • Evaluate user needs and system architectures to define, develop, and manage system requirements.
  • Lead system design, development, integration, and implementation efforts; advise users on requirements and potential solution paths.
  • Produce technical documentation, engineering plans, and related system artifacts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve cross‑discipline issues and maintain the technical integrity of all deliverables.
  • Participate in design reviews, program reviews, and integrated product team activities.
  • Develop, refine, and allocate system requirements, including those related to information assurance and security.
