Make a difference as a Systems Engineer - Expert Level Mission Intelligence Group is seeking an Expert Systems Engineer to take a leadership role in our engineering teams, utilizing a multi-discipline approach to tackle complex challenges in GEOINT delivery. This position will involve planning and analyzing user requirements, ensuring traceability across CAP/SAP architectures, and improving existing systems through innovative solutions. You will directly assist government office chiefs in documenting and tracking engineering needs while facilitating technical exchange meetings that inform both government and contractor teams. Your expertise will guide the analysis and allocation of requirements to system architecture components and support critical systems integration activities. Collaborating with senior and mid-level engineers, you will lead various assessments and strategic technical planning, providing critical insights on technology and process improvements. Your role will also include establishing strong relationships with senior government personnel and effectively communicating technical issues to diverse audiences, enabling successful outcomes across organizational boundaries. Additionally, the ability to foster collaborative relationships with senior government personnel will enhance teamwork and facilitate successful outcomes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields associated with a STEM degree.
  • 18+ years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or system engineering of large, complex system of systems or Service Oriented Architecture / Cloud environments.
  • 12+ years of experience with systems engineering lifecycle.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting the assessment, evaluation, and deployment of new or emerging technologies into operations or the architectural impacts and a recommended path forward.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering for GEOINT systems, services, or products.
  • 8+ years of experience in managing system interfaces and end-to-end system integration of new and existing capabilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or technical team leadership.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM degree.
  • Experience with CAP/SAP architecture, the NSG, or NRO enterprises.
  • Experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
  • Experience in systems definition and development oversight or cloud technology engineering and migration.
  • Experience in engineering solutions using structured and unstructured large data sets.
  • Experience in engineering solutions using AAA technologies.
  • Experience in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.

  • Working knowledge of MBSE processes, tools, or languages.
  • Software development framework, Agile, PMP, or INCOSE certifications.
