As an Electrical/System Engineering Staff, you'll oversee the development of one-line diagrams (architecture) and system level electrical schematics for various mission and communication sub-systems. You'll collaborate across engineering disciplines to lead the design effort in the electrical and mechanical domain. You'll manage / support team planning and coordination design activities to deliver on technical performance, schedule, and cost. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered an emerging authority.
  • Experience updating and/or using One-line Diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics and cable harness drawings.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using CAD Software packages like Zuken E3 and AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of Analog and Digital Circuits, design, and analysis.
  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, EIA-422/485, Discretes (O/G, O/28VDC, etc.)
  • Working Knowledge of Cameo Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tool
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently.
  • Shown problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written/verbal skills.
  • Able to work efficiently in a diverse team environment.
  • Knowledge of using Earned value management/work package management

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems engineering efforts on various projects and programs
  • Developing electrical interfaces to meet systems requirements from platform solutions
  • Interrupting / integrating external and internal interfaces from platform Interfaces Control Documentation (ICDs)
  • Creating and/or reviewing one-line diagrams and system level schematics
  • Developing technical solutions to complex problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware/software/test interfaces - Support documentation, error correction, and performance reports
  • Executing integration, verification, and validation tests
