About The Position

The Systems Designer for Range, Consumption & Emissions is responsible for leading the evaluation of fuel economy, acceleration performance, capability (e.g. trailer tow) and drivability for new electrified powertrains and vehicles using computer modeling techniques and test data analysis. The System Designer analyzes architectures and concepts to achieve functional requirements. 100% Onsite

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or related field
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality processes of electrical components
• Knowledge Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related degree field
• Components releasing experience
• Experienced in validating and releasing of Electric Components for Automotive applications
• Knowledge in electrified powertrain propulsion systems
• Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green / Black-Belt
• Knowledgeable in use of TeamCenter with experience in NX in a production release environment
