Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer. In this role, you will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Conduct analyses at all levels of total system product including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions.
  • Masters level degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field and zero years of professional experience.
  • Familiarity with Analyst Tools such as MATLAB.
  • Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
  • Knowledge of system design, requirements definition and documentation.
  • Familiarity with SysML and Model-Based Systems Engineering toolsets (Cameo, Rhapsody).
  • Knowledge of system verification/test documentation and conduct.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware/software deficiencies.
