This role supports the Space Launch System (SLS) Program at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) as a Senior Systems Engineering (SE) professional with deep Configuration/Data Management (CDM) expertise. It serves as a key integrator across technical disciplines, providing leadership in configuration control, data governance, and Board Secretariat functions supporting Program Control Board (PCB) and related governance bodies. This position supports programmatic reviews and technical meetings by coordinating data products, reviewing and managing briefing materials, maintaining official records, and tracking actions through closure. The role requires effective use of enterprise tools (e.g., Windchill, Sharepoint, and configuration status accounting systems) to generate metrics, support audits, and ensure compliance with Configuration and Data Management standards. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, ownership of data integrity, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly integrated environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership in cross-functional coordination, process discipline, and continuous improvement of CM/DM practices to meet program milestones and hardware development objectives.
